AJ Fox Compliance Diversity & Inclusion Survey

  1. Welcome to our diversity and inclusion survey!

We’re conducting this survey to monitor equality and better understand the diversity and inclusion issues in our industry in order that we can make recommendations to our clients on how to improve their recruitment processes.

We are passionate about these issues and want to bring about positive change within our industry.

Thank you so much for taking part, your contributions are extremely valuable.

All the data you share with us will be kept anonymous. You do not have to answer every question if you do not want to. We consulted official sources such as gov.uk and ons.gov.uk when putting together this survey. There is an option to submit your feedback at the end of the survey. The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

  2. Section One

This section is about how issues surrounding diversity and inclusion impact you in your career.

  3. Section Two

This section is about understanding how you feel your organisation approaches diversity and inclusion.

  4. Section Three

This section is about us and understanding how we can contribute to reducing biases in the recruitment process.

As part of our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion, we are considering encouraging our clients to agree to the following strategies:

    1. Accept CVs without names

    2. Don’t ask for candidates’ current or previous salaries

    3. Review a higher number of CVs

We believe these three things will help to:

    1. Reduce unconscious biases on the part of HR and Hiring Managers

    2. Address gender and ethnicity pay gaps and stop below market value salaries from being perpetuated by default

    3. Enable us to provide a more diverse shortlist

  5. Section Four

This section is about you. We are gathering this data about our network so that we can make recommendations on how recruitment processes can be improved based on our findings.

We consulted gov.uk, ons.gov.uk, stonewall.org.uk, and socialmobilityworks.org when putting together this section to ensure it is as inclusive as possible.

  6. Thank you for completing our survey!
